Lohan Replaced as Lovelace

Lindsay Lohan has had her share of ups and downs both on and off the screen. The perpetual dilemma known as Lohan has yet another new issue. She's been dropped from upcoming biopic about the porn star Linda Lovelace titled "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story." Check out the full details after the jump...

Yesterday news was swirling that director Matthew Wilder was finally ready to drop Lindsay Lohan from the production. Wilder has struggled to stand by Lohan as she's gone through her legal woes and has finally drawn the last straw. Deadline reports that Lohan is out and Malin Akerman is in. An insider told the media outlet, "My understanding is that Lindsay was dropped as she's impossible to insure and the producers loved Malin."

Malin Akerman is probably best known for her role in Zack Snyder's Watchmen. She's also been in Couples Retreat, 27 Dresses and The Heartbreak Kid opposite Ben Stiller. Akerman can be next seen in "Wanderlust" starring Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd.

Akerman is quickly making something of herself and should be a nice change of pace for director Matthew Wilder while moving forward with the Linda Lovelace biopic. Stay tuned for more news as it breaks...
