Trailer: Jonah Hex

Our first trailer for WB and DC's "Jonah Hex" has hit the net this week and I've got it here for you below. I've casually read the comic series over the years and remain fairly interested to see how the movie turns out. First Official Look at Thor!

Marvel and director Kenneth Branagh have been shooting "Thor" since the beginning of the year in New Mexico and now we finally have our first look at the Asgardian. Thor has always been a fave of mine along with the other members of the Avengers and seeing the team coming together on screen is getting me quite giddy. No sense wasting too much time rambling about how excited I am for "Thor" scroll down and see the Norse god of Thunder for yourself...

Review - The Losers

Unwilling to complete the task, the 5 man team are left for dead and double crossed by a illusive enemy named Max. Hellbent on exposing Max as the vicious war dealer he is, the presumed dead team works together alongside a seductive operative to settle the score.

With little options left, they begin uncovering the history to the serial killer who wears a glove fashioned with razor sharp knives attached to the fingers. A history that may be their only hope for survival and a good night's sleep.

Review - The Human Centipede (First Sequence)

Two American girls while traveling through Germany, breakdown in a secluded rural area. Without any service to call for help, the girls search through the wooded countryside for any sign of life. Unbeknownst to the American girls, they find a solitary house in which a retired surgeon who specialized in separating Siamese twins lives. The girls quickly find themselves captured by the mad doctor who will soon make them part of his latest creation, a human centipede.

Hobo With A Shotgun News

I have been out of commission for a little over a week now and my return comes with serious excitement to report about. A couple weeks back now solid verification came that a feature length film would be made from the Grindhouse short "Hobo With A Shotgun." Rumors have swirled about a feature length film since the short appeared online a few years back, but the positive news is, its for real. Trailer: Piranha 3D

Here's a movie and or trailer I did not see myself getting all that excited for. But for a number of reasons this trailer really gets me amped for the feeding frenzy that will be "Piranha 3D." The teaser trailer does a great job of introducing the update to  new viewers while setting the stage for what looks to be one chomping good time (sorry about the bad pun). Review - Kick-Ass

A nerdy high school teen wonders why there have never been any real life superheroes and instead of just wondering he decides to become one. Dave Lizewski begins moonlighting as a super-hero for hire known as Kick-Ass. After Kick-Ass is caught on video helping a bystander from an attack, his status sky rockets placing him in the limelight and exposed to a level of villainy he never expected.

Developing Danger Girl

We all know comic book properties are all the rage as of late in Hollywood, shoot if you've been reading my site, you know I try to talk about a good share of them. One comic I've always mildly enjoyed is J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell's Danger Girl. The Wildstorm series started back in 1998 as a play off the super spy action stories. The spin being Bond-esque girls being the super spies instead of just eye candy. Recently Relativity picked up the rights to the comic and producer Adrian Askarieh talked with the Los Angeles Times about developing the feature film. He-Man Gets 'Predators' Duo

Columbia Pictures are moving forward with their recent acquisition of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. News broke today that the studio has hired the guys who penned the upcoming "Predators" movie, Mike Finch and Alex Litvak. Finch and Litvak are fairly new, with only "Predators" under their belt, but Columbia has assigned them the tricky task of adapting the cartoon/toyline into a feature film. PG13 'Toxic Avenger' Remake

Earlier this week news broke that yet another flick is getting the remake treatment. The latest however, is sure to make a few people scratch their heads. Original Media recently acquired the rights to the cult Troma classic The Toxic Avenger. Unused 'Green Lantern' Art

"The Green Lantern" began principle photography back in March and today comes our first possible look at how the Green Lantern uniform could resemble in the film. Or at the very least, our best piece of art to date of Ryan Reynolds in the Green Lantern Corps. uniform. The above art comes from Jason Palmer, a comic and prop art artist. Palmer works on assignment for Warner Brothers and Universal and recently on his website he revealed he's been working on two films for WB. Indy Joins Cowboys & Aliens

Early on this week rumors swirled that Indiana Jones himself Harrison Ford might be joining the cast of "Cowboys and Aliens." Fright Night Gets Brewster

More and more remakes are happening these days in Hollywood and Dreamworks latest remake has found its star. Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Terminator Salvation) has signed on to play the lead character Charley Brewster in "Fright Night." The original 1985 vampire comedy opened to moderate success never reaching the top of the Box Office, leaving some speculation as to why Dreamworks would option a remake. Review - Clash of the Titans

Persesus was raised as a fisherman, however upon traveling to the city of Argos, he is faced with his true destiny. Born as a bastard son to the Greek god Zeus, Persesus is a demi-god. Part man and part god, he is the only person with the ability to save Argos from the war that is about to erupt. The gods, who have fallen from favor among men, became angered when a statue of Zeus is destroyed and Princess Andromeda is labeled more beautiful than the god Athena. Sending Hades to invoke fear in men, the gods reveal to the city that either a sacrifice to the gods must be made, or Hades would unleash his vicious Kraken, sealing the city's fate. Persesus and selected warriors of Argos quickly embark on a quest to defeat the monstrous Kraken, Hades and prevent the devastation of mankind.

I heard good things about this scifi horror from this year's Sundance Film Festival and from the looks of this trailer, the word was right! Bucky Cast in 'First Avenger'

Last month Marvel Studios finally confirmed who would play Captain America. Today more casting news has broke surrounding the highly anticipated comic book film "The First Avenger: Captain America." Marvel has revealed their final decision on who will play Captain America's sidekick, Bucky Barnes. Sebastian Stan from Hot Tub Time Machine and televisions Gossip Girl will play Bucky Barnes. Review - The Eclipse

An Irish widower named Michael Farr begins experiencing ghostly encounters sometime after his wife's death. Trying to cope with his experiences, Michael begins reading a book that explores similar happenings. A book, that he by chance discovered while working at a local writers festival as the driver for the author of the very same novel. The author and Michael spark a interesting relationship, a relationship that will hopefully give clarity and resolve to Michael's grief and horrific experiences.
