JLA: Not So Mortal! is reporting that Justice League of America is not moving forward any time soon! A couple weeks ago George Miller had said that Justice League was still on and would begin production in the Fall (read report here). IESB says they have heard different from various sources at Warner Brothers! "The movie will not move forward in its current incarnation and a lot has to do with the success of The Dark Knight. Warner Bros. is not willing to risk pissing off Christopher Nolan or Christian Bale and their intent would be to move forward with a third Batman film instead of introducing another Batman in a JLA film." Hooray, it seems WB is actually using their brain (What happened with Harry Potter fuckers)! Warner Bros. has officially put Justice League of America on indefinate hold and George Miller has been removed from the project!

Could that mean George Miller will just move on to Happy Feet 2 or the long talked of 4th Mad Max film? Not so fast, WB executives would like George Miller to possibly helm the new Green Lantern film that is in pre-production! This news all came via a script review of the new Green Lantern film, which is also very positive! (Read the full script review here)

Thoughts on no JLA? Does George Miller directing Green Lantern sound positive? Warner Bros. once gave him the rights to Mad Max 2 and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome to get him to step aside as the director of the Jodie Foster film, Contact.
